Pendant Light Shades
(the fixture attaches at the top)
These shades are crafted to fit standard pendant fixtures from stores such as Home Depot and Lowe's. We can provide more information in the future, but the fixtures require an opening about an inch in diameter,
and are generally $20 to $25. The maximum wattage is rated at 40 Watts.
Kelly has made a variety of light shades in the past, and now these have grown from what she is doing with the color in her floats. The photographs here are lacking just a little--in that you don't get to see how the light from inside affects the color--just know that the color combinations are even more lovely when they are lit. I will work on satisfactory images showing the color when lighted as well.
Kelly makes these to order--often folks have a need for two or three in a
kitchen--and she creates a group based on your color interests. The shapes vary with the individual pieces (that's how hand-made glass shades are--they don't come from a mould!) but they will be related in color, size and shape. We will have more examples here on the web site in the future, or you are welcome to contact Kelly via the order@KellyHowardGlass.com email.
The shades are generally $150 a piece depending on the complexity.
I'll have general sizes in the coming days,
but the dimensions are roughly 6" to 8" tall and about 4" to 5" in diameter.
Shipping cost varies, but begins at $15 for one shade.
