In ballet, a cat-like leaping step which moves sideways, with the dancer leaping off one foot and landing on the other.
"To move forward and keep working.
To see and feel the color in your dreams and make a point to create it.
To let your memory and imagination lead you in both new and old directions.
These pieces are about color, form and movement. There is a transition in my work that has occurred from the Organic Vessels to the Vortices
to this new and evolving series: Pas de Chat.
In them I can see the evolution of an idea, and my intuitive response as an artist. Leaping off from one idea, and not quite knowing where you will land."
